Anxiety

Recently I have found myself having anxiety attacks. I still cannot tell you why they have been going on. I do not know if it’s the stress of turning 26 soon or life itself. One of my latest ones was possibly triggered by knowing a GI test I need may cost. Honestly, healthcare cost even with insurance is insane. Almost $400 just for bloodwork. Why is diagnostic testing so expensive? All I want is answers, not more bills.

Anyhow, I did not mean to go on a rant. I have not had anxiety for a very long time. It is possible I have but was unaware. As I write this I am using one of my biggest coping techniques, music. I recently got a puzzle to work on when I feel an attack coming on.

The thing with anxiety is you don’t always know it is about to surface. It could be you simply enjoying a show and start to ball crying. Getting ready for bed or even in bed. Mine presents itself at random but sometimes I do get a warning.

I recently learned that Fibromyalgia can cause anxiety and depression. That was very interesting to me being I have been having more flares than normal lately. With those has come anxiety. Now that I put two and two together I need to get back on my Apple Fitness and in the gym!

When I was working out five days a week (when I could) I was not dealing with anxiety as much. What are some things you do to manage your anxiety?
